Well Folks, it’s been quite a ride. Starting in June the Lord began to stir some things in my heart. I didn’t know entirely what to make of it. I had a sense that my time here was coming to an end.

I am transitioning out of Adventures in Missions and moving back to San Francisco at the end of 2016. My last day will be Oct 31st.

As I reflect on the time I’ve spent here, I see the Lord’s goodness through it all. Much of what I’ve been allowed to do is to find the wisdom in the organization and connect it to those in Leadership.  We’ve grappled as a community with making sure we are focusing on the most important things and directing our energy to what matters most. It’s been an honor to have a voice in this journey. I’ve also never been in a place where every single person here was hand-picked by the Lord. Every story I’ve heard has been unique about the ways the Lord moved people to come to this place.   It’s been a pleasure to do life alongside people who have a yes in their Spirit towards God.

However, I find myself sensing that He’s preparing me for the next season.  So as I prepare to leave the time is both sweet but sad as I savor my last months in Georgia.

To My Amazing Financial and Prayer Partners: Your faithfulness and friendship have given me strength.  Each time I go to reread the prayer requests from my last newsletter, I find that my prayers have been answered! I’m still learning to let go of self-sufficiency and this has helped loosen my grip on that as a way of life. Thank you.

Feel free to direct your giving anywhere else the Lord might be leading you.  I would also love to connect you to people here if you are interested.  So many of my co-laborers and friends are in need of people to partner with them in the work God’s called them to, so let me know!

And so the Adventure to continues…

Ps. I have some rare free time before the move back to SF and would love to go on an adventure through the East Coast if anyone is interested!

  1. Hi Tina,

I get down to SF from time to time. If I’m down there I’ll see if I can reach out. It would be good to connect.
