Intercession...

I didn't realize it, but I was resisting the call.

It's because I'm biased towards action and also everytime I went to pray, I had no words.

Just groans.

Somewhere in my gut, they would emerge

A yearning for people

To have all the things I desire for them

I stopped resisting because in the end all that I want for them can come only by the Hand of God.

And because He showed me in His Word that the groaning is enough.

He understands us even when there are no words.

The Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. - Romans 8:26
